Your information stays with the league.

Club Basketball League collects the contact and team information submitted through our registration form so we can review entries, organize divisions, and communicate with club representatives.

What we collect

At registration we collect club names, adult contact details, team information, scheduling notes, and any other information you voluntarily submit. Registration does not ask for any player information.

Team rosters

After registering, each club receives a private link for adding its team rosters. On that page we collect a player's name, jersey number, school grade, and a parent or guardian email address used to send the liability waiver. We do not ask for home addresses, photographs, or any other information about a player beyond what the waiver itself requires (see below), and clubs are asked not to submit anything further.

Rosters are submitted by the club's adult representative, not by players or their families. The roster link is unique to each club and is not published; anyone holding it can view and edit that club's rosters, so clubs are asked to keep it private. A club may ask us to reissue or disable its link at any time.

Roster information is visible only to league administrators and is used solely to run the season — checking eligibility for a division, producing team sheets, scorekeeping, and sending waivers. It is never sold, published, or shared with third parties. Rosters are deleted when a club's registration is deleted, and at the end of the season on request.

Waivers

A club or the league can send a liability waiver to a player's parent or guardian by email. To sign it, the parent reviews the waiver text on our website and provides the athlete's date of birth and an emergency contact phone number, then signs by typing their full name and checking an agreement box; we record that name, the date of birth, the emergency phone number, the time, and the IP address the form was submitted from as part of the signed record. The signed waiver (a PDF) is stored by the league, emailed to the parent for their own records, and used only to confirm a player is cleared to participate and to reach someone in an emergency. Email [email protected] to request a copy or removal of a signed waiver.

How we use it

We use submitted information only for league administration, team placement, scheduling preparation, and direct communication about Club Basketball League.

Questions or deletion requests

Email [email protected] to request access to or deletion of your registration or roster information, or to have a club's roster link reissued. A parent or guardian may contact us to have a player removed from a roster.
